To me power is connection, and the way that I experience that is through art. What I find so special about being able to connect to people through art is that it transcends language, culture and life experience, and there are so many things that we can challenge through storytelling.
Power connects so much in my personal story. There has been so much power in the Adelaide creative arts scene; it’s so collaborative and encouraging, and it’s given me such an incredible base to extend into the international arts scene, all while retaining an incredible space where it’s safe to try, and fail, and try again.
