I wasn’t overly confident growing up in Australia, being from a different ethnic background, however as I transitioned from primary school into high school, I realised I was different and unique. I had to make changes to my mindset and not shy away from situations, otherwise I couldn’t face the hurdles that were going to come my way in the future.
The power to change is what comes to mind when I think of the word power. Many people don’t think they have the ability to make meaningful changes and don’t believe in themselves long enough to initiate change and maintain it.
