I always associate power with pedalling… pedal power. My only mode of transport is a bike; I live a simple life and while enjoying the company of others, I also enjoy the solitude and peace of the open roads across this state. I have an absolute love of South Australia.
Way back, I lost my mum when I was about two and a half years old, and I was raised by my grandmother, an Anglo-Irish Protestant from the North. I think that’s where I get my appreciation of women — what they do, and how they do it. I’ve met the most incredible spectrum of femininity in my life, so Catherine House here in Adelaide, was a cause I settled on [to raise money for]… who offer support for women experiencing homelessness.
