I really identify with the city of Adelaide, our recognisable places like the Central Markets, Elder Park, the Universities, and our beautiful buildings like Edmund Wright House, which was saved from the bulldozers in the 1970s. It’s one I feel a real affinity for, and we take pride in it. We have a right as the people of the city to feel ownership, and to defend its identifying qualities that make it so livable.

Adelaide has been the home to a lot of people in its origins, and it continues to be a place where people engage with the richer side of living fully — culture, arts — and it is our concern as residents with preserving these things.
