For me, power is hard to define. Despite the struggle, I always return to the idea of gratitude.
Gratitude for those who do great things. Gratitude for the little wins that happen every day. Gratitude for the people who have helped us get to where we are. Gratitude for the spaces we occupy. Gratitude for our fallibility. Gratitude for our privilege. Gratitude for our challenges. Gratitude for our feelings. Gratitude for our individuality.
The ability to acknowledge and give thanks to the things that affect and influence us, is powerful.
