Organisational Consultant/Coach
For me, power refers to the ability for people to take responsibility and exercise control over the key aspects of their lives.
Power is continually being jockeyed for between people, groups, businesses, and states. I am most powerful when I maintain high integrity in pursuit of activities that have a purpose beyond me, positively impacting others. As I’ve moved through the world I’ve come across people who have been disempowered and require advocacy to become empowered. Similarly, I have encountered individuals who have misused their power in ways which is destructive to others. In these instances I have found challenging the powerful can be tricky.
