See a program of nineteenth-century military drill, including antique cannon fire and musketry volleys, all in the soft glow of colonial lamplight, at our only night opening of the year. Fort Glanville is Australia’s foremost colonial military historical site and we can offer a unique, colouful (and sometimes noisy) experience.
You will be able to wander freely amidst the historic Fort buildings, listen to the commentary before and during the demonstrations, and perhaps gain a little insight into military life in the 1880s.
