The 1988 Catalina Trophy Winner Flight Lieutenant Darryl Hill in front of an Orion at RAAF Edinburgh, 1988, RAAF

South Australian Aviation Museum History Talk (17 May)

For over 50 years RAAF P-3 Orions protected our country, usually out of public view, and thanks to operational security, unreported in the media. Ex-Orion pilot Darryl Hill, with over 3000 hours on the type, will introduce you to the aeroplane and discuss many of the operations flown by RAAF Orions during their half-century of service.

Presented by South Australian Aviation Museum & Flight Lieutenant Darryl Hill (Retired)
