North Road Cemetery Self-Guided Tours

Explore our rich history at your own pace. Established in 1853, North Road Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in the state and is the resting place of many early colonists, famous aviators, politicians, explorers, sporting greats and notable women. Magnificent monuments and a large variety of elaborate nineteenth-century headstones can be found within the cemetery. Self-guided tour brochures are available from the cemetery office, so you can experience our rich history at your own pace at a time of your choosing. Group guided tours are available on request.
