Moving On: Mapping German Settlement Trails

As German ships brought more migrants each year and new generations of pioneer families from the Hills and Barossa sought land or work options, they created clusters around churches and schools and forged viable communities. Seminar stories trace factors influencing settlers’ moves, their hopes and hardships, and their success or failure.
