A guided walk with stories of what brought early settlers here, their struggles, an exploration of why the area’s development was so delayed, and what triggered a transformation in the twentieth century. Visit some of the prominent sites, learn about the impact of a few significant events during the 1900s, and hear about some of the distinctive characters that feature along the way.
