'Fire and Advance' drill at Fort Glanville, Fort Glanville Historical Association.

Day in the Life of a Colonial Soldier

Enjoy an afternoon of nineteenth century colonial military drill, including fire from three of our hertiage cannons and volleys from our antique Martini-Henry carbines. Can be noisy! Appreciate the life of the colonial soldier as he trains to defend South Australia from the Russians. You will be free to wander through our heritage site, enjoy the commentary before and during the performances, and visit our museum. Children may be invited to join in a drill parade!
