Example of a City of Adelaide archives photograph printed on canvas (Andrew Peters)

City South History Exhibition

The exhibition features photographs on canvas of city south streetscapes dating back to 1860 and the early 1900s, all sourced from the City of Adelaide Archives. Also on display are beautifully illustrated storyboards that bring to life the ‘Legend of the Whistleblowers’, a story of Adelaide’s early female crime fighters!
