Kodomo no Hi (Children’s Day) is a major public holiday in Japan when families pray for their children’s success in life. The festival offers a range of activities for kids as well as performances, exhibitions, demonstrations of Japanese culture, and a variety of food and craft stalls that will keep a family entertained for the whole day. The event has become a celebration of our state’s links with Japan and an opportunity for Japanese residents to celebrate their heritage and introduce their culture to the wider community.
