2026 marks 200 years since the invention of the Friction Match by John Walker of Stockton-on-Tees, UK. The Australian Match Cover Collectors Society will celebrate the event with match exhibits, trading tables, auctions, raffles and some special souvenirs. Catering will also be provided. Non-metered parking in Sturt and Wright Streets.
