Wheal Watkins 1843 Heritage Mine: Above Ground Tour

Wheal Watkins is part of Glen Osmond’s historic silver-lead mines, Australia’s first metalliferous mining area. This above ground tour of an 182-year-old mine site is a general introduction to the origins of Cornish mining in South Australia. Sturdy footwear and good mobility are needed. School-aged children are welcome.
