From Europe to Polish Hill River in the Clare Valley

Europe in the nineteenth century gave Poles little room to prosper and to make a place for themselves. With many destinations around the world, 33 families chose South Australia, in particular the Clare Valley, and a place later to be known as Polish Hill River. In the mid-twentieth century another group of 3000 Poles made SA their home. Come see their stories.
