I feel like music goes hand in hand with power because it gives you the ability to tell stories; not only my story but the stories of other people, and to express myself freely through performing. To me, power is being able to write your own story. We have the power to make our own destiny.
When I think of places in South Australia I feel a powerful connection to The Lion Arts Factory, where I played my first ever show opening for Lime Cordiale back in 2019. The people there, the owners, have been so supportive and amazing, and it’s a true cornerstone of the Adelaide music scene.
