Yacka Motor Garage (Steve Hyde)

Yacka Motor's GMH Dealer and the History of the Building

Chat with Steve while he describes restoration work he has achieved with a passion for GMH history. Inspect his private Holden collection including a 1954 FJ Street custom and a 1953 48/215 restoration project. The feature car is a 1954 FJ Special Sedan in an as-found condition, sold new from Yacka. View displays of garage equipment including parts, tools, signs and posters. Sit on soft lounges. Browse through photos, books and magazines. Stroll outside to view the oil shed, decommissioned CFS shed and servicing ramps. All surrounded by shady trees under which rests a rusty sedan, now garden art!
