By 1870 there were five major churches in Flinders Street and now, over 150 years later, there are three active congregations.
Meet Adelaide’s church historians for a Flinders Street walk to explore the past and present of these churches – their purpose, buildings, and current ministry.
Groups will be small and our conversation and a handout will enhance the experience.
The Walk begins at 2.00pm on Sunday 7 May at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 170 Flinders St and then migrates to St Paul’s Centre, Flinders Street Baptist and Pilgrim Uniting Church, where afternoon tea will be available.
