William Kibby was awarded the Victoria Cross for his service and sacrifice during the Second World War. Eighty years on William Kibby might wonder at his legacy. Today the inspirational leadership and gallantry of this remarkable man is honoured by the William Kibby VC Veterans Shed. Here veterans from all armed forces meet to support each other and to raise money for returned veterans who are suffering from physical and psychological damage acquired during their service.
Visit the Shed’s open day and see and hear what the veterans are achieving to pay tribute to this extraordinary man. Enjoy a sausage sizzle or coffee and cake while you stroll in the peaceful Memorial Garden and visit the Remembrance Wall.
