There used to be seven hundred little railways in South Australia. They were on jetties, in mines and quarries, on construction sites, doing amusement trips and lots of other places. The event tells the story of these railways. Starting with a half hour slide and video show, followed by a tour of historic locomotives and rolling stock and finishing with a train ride.
In support of the event, the railway museum and craft shop will be open and lunches, Devonshire Teas and refreshments will be available in the cafeteria car.
