Weird Adelaide: A Tribute to Barbara Hanrahan

Writer Tracy Crisp and printmakers Simone Tippett and Vicki Reynolds collaborate to explore the interaction between Barbara Hanrahan’s writing and printmaking using Hanrahan’s article ‘Weird Adelaide’ as inspiration. With stories written by Tracy Crisp and letterpressed by Caren Florance; and works by printmakers Simone Tippett, Sue Garrard, Sally Heinrich, Jake Holmes, Lloma Mackenzie, Lorelei Medcalf, Vicki Reynolds, Joshua Searson, Izabella Shaw, Lucy Timbrell, Damien Warman, Bridgitte Williams, and Georgie Willoughby. With some of Hanrahan’s original prints generously loaned by the City of West Torrens, this unique event takes place in Mrs Harris’ Shop not far from Hanrahan’s childhood Thebarton home.
