Weaving History With Our Hands will take participants on a slow history journey. Aunty Lynette Crocker will begin with a storytelling session that tells us something of her personal journey over many decades, and how making baskets and dreaming mats has brought her to a new understanding of the past. In the best tradition of history-making, Lynette will outline the how and why of working with her hands. The day begins with a short talk followed by a weaving workshop where participants will take the first steps in threading plant fibres as part of an ancient legacy. Bookings required by phone or email.
