UniSA Enterprise Hub

UniSA Reopens Historic Haunt at 9-19 Light Square, Adelaide

Join Sunday Mail columnist and UniSA PhD student Lainie Anderson for a 40-minute presentation and tour exploring the site’s rich history. From publicans and prostitutes to foundrymen and frightening ghouls, 9 Light Square has long been home to colourful characters. Now a new breed of business occupies the north-western corner of Light Square, as UniSA unveils its state-of-the-art Enterprise Hub.  A far cry from the days of the Le Rox nightclub & Night Train Theatre Restaurant, the Enterprise Hub aims to connect SA businesses with researchers and academics to solve complex challenges and grow the state. The building has been bestowed the Kaurna name, Yangadlitya Kurmanka, which means for the future, together – a perfect sentiment to usher in UniSA’s custodianship of this historic building.
