This online workshop attempts to unweave the web of adoption and fostering records and processes in South Australia and presents a history of adoption from the early 1900s to the present day. Topics covered include: tracing family, searching, support, finding and connecting, family law, tracing a birth parent, babies’ homes, foster records, find and connect services, case studies, and guidelines for DNA testing for adoptees.
