Join Adelaide Hills author Bob Innes as he shares the fascinating story of Captain Collet Barker, an officer of the 39th Regiment in Australia and after whom the Adelaide Hills township of Mount Barker is named. Bob recounts Barker’s accomplishments in many parts of Australia, in particular of his enlightened relationship with the Aboriginal people he engaged with. This event will include a slide presentation. Bookings essential.
