The Second Delivery from Down the Line

Further tales of the history of the Gawler postal service and its staff. Our new exhibition tells the history of the post office, the telegraph and the telephone exchange – but there were just too many fascinating stories for one exhibition. Join us for the juicy extra bits and the historical stories we just didn’t have room for. This talk will delve deeply into the fascinating history of communications in Gawler and provide an opportunity to learn more about extraordinary postal and telecommunication objects that are held in private collections.
