The Extraordinary Story of How First Aid Has Changed: From 1885 to 2021

The St John Ambulance has a new larger museum in Brighton. Come and see the new exhibits. Welcome back the historical BSA motorcycle and sidecar with its extraordinary concertina stretcher. St John began teaching first aid in South Australia in 1885 long before defibrillators were invented. See how St John ran the ambulance service in South Australia for 30 years. See inside two historic ambulances (open for inspection on 2 May only). See old uniforms, equipment, treatments and marvel over the changes in how lives have been saved over the last 136 years.
