Take a Trip Back in Time…Waikerie Punt

Visit the Waikerie Library & Visitor Centre and relive the history of the punt at Waikerie dating back to the early 1900s. Browse newspaper extracts, learn interesting facts, read fascinating stories and reminisce the hard work ferry operators endured. To add to the experience, view the newly installed outdoor window image depicting Mr Jack Koch crossing the river in his new Chevrolet c. 1925.
