Children and adults are invited to enter this Story Telling Competition a factual or fictional story, in written, video or audio format. Entries to be based on “wonders” inspired by the objects and people of Clare’s past as illustrated in the old Police Station and Court House Museum in Clare. Prizes in age categories for the winning stories. Entry to the competition is free of charge and entrants must be willing for the museum to utilise the story as appropriate. An information pack on rules of the competition, timelines, how to enter and resources available for research will be provided on request. Subject to interest, a story telling workshop may be organised to provide some practical guidance on the art of telling a good story.
