Second Creek Stories: Unravelling History

Walking Country is an important element in Kaurna culture, and by adapting this concept, historian Denise Schumann will reveal the history of Second Creek as it winds its way from Kensington through Norwood, ending at Twelftree Reserve in Hackney. Amongst the concrete, paved roads, and historic backstreets there remains a hidden history, secret stories lost under the impact of colonisation and development. Learn about the past and see what happens when we don’t understand and value the importance of place. This is a rigorous walk. Bookings required by phone or email.
