The Argo (Courtesey of Italo Vardaro)

River Stories: The Argo Project

The ARGO project focuses on the history of the ARGO barge and the remarkable story of a group of men who passionately restored it. Their stories and the ARGO’s history are synonymous with the opening up of life along the Murray. Join us for a screening of interviews and images. Stay for a cuppa, talk to us about river memories and find out more about this exciting new project that aims to lift history out of books and into public spaces. Bookings essential.
