Pilgrim Uniting Church Historical Tour

Come to marvel at the ornate beauty of Pilgrim Uniting Church during our daily open church from 12.00 pm – 2.00 pm weekdays.

As the first Congregational Church in South Australia, the building has an abundance of interesting history.

The state heritage listed church features revival gothic-style architecture with ornately carved wood and stone and stained glass windows from the mid 1800s. It also features a beautiful 160-year-old antique organ that is the largest in South Australia.

The Church is open each weekday to take a self-directed tour, or you can meet with our friendly guides to explore the many aspects of its past and present purpose. At 1.00 pm on the first and third Thursday of the month there will be an organ concert, and on the second and fourth Thursday a special talk.
