Nairne – an 1800s Town of History

Discover the historic Adelaide Hills town of Nairne established 1839 and the surrounding district. Visit the Nairne Museum which is housed in the Institute built in 1904. It will be open every Saturday and Sunday in May. Take a self-guided tour of the town with the Nairne Mural & Historic Walk brochure available from the Museum. The Official Opening of the Nairne History Festival will be on Saturday 6th May 2023 and on this day there will be a number of old buildings open to the public with historic photographs and community displays to view.
