Lost Pubs of Adelaide

Adelaide is often referred to as the ‘City of Churches’ but it could just as well be known as the ‘City of Pubs’ when you consider the number of pubs that have operated in the city since the early days of the colony. We’ve compiled a map and photo gallery of pubs that once traded but no longer operate or exist in the city – and there’s a lot of them! Go for a walk, discover an old location and read a tale about a different era. Cheers! Photos and text sourced from the State Library of South Australia.
