Lalai Dreamtime is an extraordinary film in a series created by Michael Edols in 1972. Selected by Aboriginal Elders of the Worrora of the Kimberley, he used the power of film to record their traditional way of life. The task was to preserve for future generations their lore and culture in the face of development and mining in the Kimberly. The film uses story to document the return by the Worrora to their Spirit Country. According to lore, ancestral beings are seen within the rock caves and the rugged escarpments that govern every part of Worrora life. Don’t miss this. Bookings essential.
