Justice (Rachel Harris)

Labour of Love Pasteups Walking Tour

Over the last 100 years, the Port Adelaide Workers Memorial has honoured 136 people who devoted their lives to promoting social justice in Port Adelaide and beyond. To mark the centenary, event organisers have worked with graphic designer Rachel Harris (Bit Scribbly) to reproduce large scale images of people inscribed on the memorial and the Port’s working past. Rachel always subverts her images in whimsical ways and encourages audiences to discover these hidden delights. Join City of Port Adelaide Enfield Librarian, Meredith Blundell, and Rachel Harris on a guided tour to unpack the fascinating stories behind these images scattered throughout the Port. Bookings essential.

Presented by Port of Adelaide Branch, National Trust SA, South Australian Maritime Museum, City of Port Adelaide Enfield.
