Kermode Street: Its Highs and Lows

Who was Kermode Street named after? Why was it North Adelaide’s first High Street? What were its low points? View a colourful exhibition on the history of Kermode Street, photographs of some of the early houses, including those taken circa 1976 in a North Adelaide Society survey. Enjoy the afternoon listening to local historian Graeme Lange on the interesting history of this forgotten street of North Adelaide, and the notable and interesting residents and occurrences over time.
