In Our Neighbours’ Soil will honour the 50 dead Australians who are buried in Singapore and Malaysia from the two post-World War II Malayan wars; the Malayan Emergency and the Indonesian Confrontation with Malaysia. The burials are not in a war cemetery and repatriation has not been extended to these Australians. The SA and NT Branch of the National Malaya & Borneo Veterans Association Australia Inc (NMBVAA) has recorded 71 Australians fallen, including two South Australians on a plaque in the Heroes Memorial Park in Kuching, Sarawak.
