To commemorate the centenary of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) in 2021, the South Australian Aviation Museum will host four talks, each focusing on a specific aircraft type operated by the RAAF. After a talk by museum volunteers or members of the RAAF, a hands-on tour will enable participants to get up close to each aircraft. The talks will examine the breadth of technological change from the 1930s to the present day. Subject aircraft are the Fairey Battle, Supermarine Spitfire, Macchi MB-326H and Lockheed Orion. Bookings required by phone or email.
