Opened in March 1883 as part of the first section of the Adelaide Hills Railway line, the Mitcham Railway Station celebrates its 140th Anniversary in 2023.
Come along and take a fascinating guided tour in and around this historic railway station, including the old station rooms, the signal box and the station’s famous ‘Nellies Garden’. You will hear the interesting station history and stories from experienced and knowledgeable tour guides, including the last Mitcham Station Master. Includes light refreshments at tour’s end.
