Hindmarsh Cemetery: 175 Years Looking Forward, Looking Back

In 2021 the heritage-listed Hindmarsh Cemetery celebrates its 175th anniversary. As part of the celebration, the City of Charles Sturt has commenced preservation works at the cemetery, and in conjunction with the Hindmarsh Historical Society, we are hosting an event to commemorate the cemetery’s early history through stories of the period (1836-1840), and to remember the lives of those who rest there. You are invited to share your own stories and join us in our journey to form the vision for this fascinating part of our local history. Bookings essential.

Presented by City of Charles Sturt, Hindmarsh Historical Society Museum
