Family History Research: The Basics (Workshop 1 of 4)

Beginning your family history research? This four-week course is for you! This session will explore the basic concepts of finding information and recording what you find, setting goals, avoiding confusion, the Genealogical Proof Standard and identifying some key resources for your searching; you will soon be prepared to start your family history journey. There will be opportunities to create working pedigree charts and family groups sheets, or use a genealogy application to record your information. Presented by Ben Hollister. The first of a four-course program, this can be undertaken as a standalone course as well. Bookings essential.
