Collection of photographs, documents, memorabilia and other family heirlooms belonging to Jewish survivors of the Holocaust who fled from Europe to Australia in the 1930s and post WW2 era. (Andrew Steiner and Pam Rachootin)

Connecting Fragments

Since opening the doors last year, the Adelaide Holocaust Museum and Andrew Steiner Education Centre has uncovered many compelling hidden stories reflecting South Australian Holocaust connections. Many of us have or are given items that tell stories about those who were important to us. Search your house for documents, photographs, or objects from the years before, during and the post war stories connected to the Holocaust to share with us. Visit us with your items and our curator will document these and their stories to help us connect fragments of hidden South Australian Holocaust stories. Bookings essential.
