Coming Back to Country is an important part of this year’s festival in the City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters. The Council has worked closely with the Kaurna to recognise their connection to Country and is developing a number of important cultural sites across the city. This tour will explore significant areas along First, Second and Third Creeks from Kensington to St Peters, and the national award-winning Felixstow Reserve. It will interpret Kaurna history and stories against the backdrop of ancient scar trees and known ceremonial sites. Led by Aunty Lynette Crocker and historian Denise Schumann. Bookings required by phone or email.
