This talk will be a slideshow presentaion based on Don Loffler’s most recent book with the same title. It is a photographic collection of some old black-and-white photos and many beautiful colour slides, showing people’s cars of all kinds of makes that were bought new in the 1940s, 50s and 60s. There are no restored cars in the presentation. A talk that will have broad appeal to people who can remember their Austin or Morris or Ford or Jaguar or Chevrolet or Pontiac or Studebaker etc. There are also some pictures of people’s “chop picnics’, caravan holidays, and even traffic accidents!
