Carrick Hill - up high (Anthony Anderson)

Carrick Hill Historic House Museum

Carrick Hill is one of the few period homes in Australia to survive with much of its original contents intact and its grounds undiminished. Bequeathed to the people of South Australia by Ursula and Bill Hayward, Carrick Hill opened to the public in 1986 as a historic house museum and garden. An impressive art collection, a fascinating exhibition and good food and drink – all in a beautiful garden setting with fabulous views of the city and the sea.
