Botanica Lumina: Night Tour of the Old Tram Barn

Enjoy an after-dark tour of the heritage-listed building that once housed the original fleet of Adelaide trams. Tram Barn A now houses the State Herbarium and is a centre for critical plant science and conservation. Join the Herbarium’s Chief Botanist as she shares the stories held within the building’s walls. Learn about its origins as the East End’s transport hub and how it now safeguards over one million plant specimens instead. Discover the building’s history, current purpose and what the future may hold. Don’t miss out on this special behind-the-scenes Botanica Lumina tour. Bookings essential.
