Poet and author of Out of Copley Street: A working-class boyhood, Geoff Goodfellow joins us for a two-wheeled ride through the good ol’ days. Working on a milk round with Lenny Sugars at five years of age, selling Harding’s Crumpets door-to-door at ten, selling pies and pasties in pubs at twelve, and a whole lot more; including appearances in the Juvenile Court for speeding with a pillion passenger on more than one occasion. Geoff has a wide range of stories, told in prose and poetry. ‘A rollicking slice of an unlikely life’ – Tim Winton. Content warning: Occasional strong language. Bookings essential.
